Your Privacy and Control on Optio
Your data belongs to you. Optio is built around candidate control — you decide what to share, when to be contactable, and when to step back.
What we collect and why
When you build a wish list on Optio, you share structured information about your current role, your priorities and what would make a move worth considering. This data is used only to match you with relevant employers and to generate anonymised market intelligence.
We do not:
- Share your name or contact details with employers without your explicit consent
- Use your data for advertising
- Sell your information to third parties
- Make your profile visible to your current employer
You stay in control
At any time you can:
- Update your wish list to reflect changed priorities
- Pause your profile if you are no longer open to opportunities
- Remove your profile entirely and request deletion of your data
- Review what information we hold about you
Matching and consent
When Optio identifies a match between your wish list and an employer’s role and offer, we will notify you and explain why the match has been made. You then decide whether to proceed. Your details are never passed to an employer without your knowledge.
